Nutrition and training: frequently asked questions
How to start the food diary, which reports are available, how to edit recipes and speed up daily logging, plus the common question about gross versus net calories across screens.
How nutrition is modelled
The diary is built on products → dishes → meal entries, with automatic nutrient recalculation.
Gross and net calories
The workout card shows gross — the full energy of the session including resting energy. The daily balance uses net — energy above rest. The same session therefore shows different numbers on different screens, and this is expected.
FAQ
How do I start the food diary?
Create a product or a dish first, then add a meal entry. Nutrients are recalculated automatically.
Which nutrition reports are available?
Daily, weekly and monthly reports, plus breakdowns by meal type and most frequent products.
Why do calories differ between screens?
The workout card shows gross calories while the daily balance uses net calories — energy above rest. The difference is expected.
Can I log workouts without a watch or sensors?
Yes, strength and session workouts can be entered manually. For strength work, adding intensity or RPE improves the estimate.
